Getting Started/First Assignment

Welcome to Grade 10 Communication Technology

Today and tomorrow will be spent covering some of the procedures we follow in the Comm. Tech area. We will also discuss some very basic computer techniques in order to make sure that we’re all starting from the same point.

We will go through a quick review of the file system that is used here at DHS (Z: vs. My Documents). On the Z Drive make a new folder and label it Comm. Tech. In this folder add two more folders, one folder for pictures and one folder for assignments. We will add printers and print off some basic name tags so I can get to know you a bit faster.

All of the assignments and projects that you produce this year will be posted on your Comm. Tech Blog. We will create these blogs today. Open and follow the step by step tutorial on making your blog.
